Dorothy Theresa Brown

 Dorothy was born on October 12, 1927 in Boston to Alfonso and Adele Beltramini. She spent her childhood in Boston eventually attending the Bently Business College specializing in accounting. Upon graduation, she managed the financial matters at her father's downtown auto garage.  At the end of WWII, she found herself on a bus to San Diego where she met and married Albert Brown. Dorothy worked in the trust department at Bank of America in San Diego. She and Albert soon moved to Hemet circa 1952.  As Albert started his career, Dorothy brought her accounting skills to their new business, the “Albert LeRoy Brown, General Building Contractor company”.  Al and Dottie eventually built over 100 homes in the Valley.  Dorothy became the real estate broker-owner of Crest Realty and was the CFO of the A&D Brown Corp.  During her lifetime she also served as president of the Hemet Emblem’s Club and was a volunteer for Catholic Charities in her later years.  Preceded in death by her husband Albert and her brother Joseph Beltramini, she is survived by her sister Ann Tabor, daughter Katherine Yonkers, and sons Thomas Brown and Kevin Brown. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
