DORSEY HAYGANS – September 25, 1925- September 16, 2017

Dorsey Haygan; The world greatest husband, father and grandad passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Proceeded in death by his parents-Benjamin Frank Haygan, and Deena Pruitt Haygan; sister Irene Haygan-Thomas-Henderson; 6 brothers, Roosevelt Haygan, Franklin Haygan, George Haygan, Floyd Lee Haygan (BIG TREE), Charles Leachman, Francis Haygan.

Dorsey served 4 years in the Navy and received an honorable discharge. He worked for The Union Hall 561 where he was Superintendent upon his retirement after many years.

He leaves to cherish his beloved wife of 70 years, Frances Haygan; daughter, Mildred Hatchett; son-in-law, Bill Hatchett; sister, Mary Clark; granddaughters, Debra Sutton, and Shelly Richards; grandson-in-law, Kevin Richards; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other family members and friends as well as his loving dog Trixie.

Family and Friends invite you to attend the Memorial Service which will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at 7th Street Baptist Church located at 627 Short 7th St, Henderson, KY 42420,              Dr. Anthony M. Brooks officiating.
