Celebrating the Life & Legacy of

Elinor Glynn Lee

Sunrise

On April 25,1943 the sun rose, and the Lord blessed this world with a beautiful baby girl named Elinor Glynn. This beautiful girl grew up in Alabama where she developed a strong sense of family and love. She was so loving and caring to everyone. Her love was completely unconditional. She always found the good in everyone. She was such a giving woman, always finding time to help anyone who was in need and providing a safe and loving home for her children and grandchildren. An example of her giving spirit was shown when she worked as a Postal Clerk. She would use her personal time to help the homeless set up P.O. Boxes in order for them to receive their mail. She was the solid rock and foundation for her family. Always providing love, patience and understanding to all of us. However, she had a quiet tough side as well. We won’t go into that though. We all knew that side as well. She was a well-balanced personality, sweet, loving, tough and stubborn. Elinor always made time to for you. She always had time for a comforting conversation, or a patient ear to listen.

She was a wonderful wife to Clifton Sr. for 26 years. She was an amazing mother, an awesome grandmother, and an incredible great grandmother.

She was also the best dog parent that any furbaby could ever have. Mojo, Lucy, Dougie, Betty Boop and The Bandit were truly blessed. Let’s not forget her grandpups Max, Duke, Porter, Jewelz and Barry White. They would light up when they knew they were visiting Gynn.

Sunset

On April 20, 2024 the sun set for our Beloved Elinor (aka) Gynn. She showed us strength and courage during this time. Her eyes displaying her unwavering love for each of us. However, on this day, her spirit continues to live in everyone who was ever blessed to meet her. Our hearts are heavy, but just the thinking of her makes us smile. We love you Mom, Gynn, Elinor
