Maxine Hazel Schneiders was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 16, 1917.  She passed away at Citrus Court Assisted Living in Hemet, California  at the age of 101 on September 7, 2017. 

Maxine was an only child.  She married the love of her life and they enjoyed each other to the fullest. Together they spent time traveling, listening to music, and  simply put “just having fun”!  She was the beloved mother of Marianne Raver.  Maxine and her late husband Charles moved to Hemet, California in the early 1970’s.  She was employed by Douglas Aircraft for many years.  The most important thing to Maxine was caring for the family.

In 2016 the  Centenarian newspaper celebrated Maxine’s 100th birthday by publishing an article. Here are a few words of wisdom from “Miss Maxine”, “We ought to pay more attention to the young folks.  They need our wisdom, because they are our future.” 

She will forever be remembered for her angelic smile, her wit, and the twinkle of her light blue eyes.  May she forever Rest in Peace.
