Raymond Dean Pepper, 85, of Hemet, California passed away peacefully at home on July 09, 2017. He is survived by one son, Steven Pepper and his partner, David Burton, one step-daughter, Rose Holeman, five step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren; and predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Sarah Selma Pepper and one step-daughter, Sharon Miller.
"Ray" was born and raised in San Bernardino, California where he attended San Bernardino High School.
He briefly worked for Sante Fe Railroad before entering the Marine Corp for 4 years serving in the Korean War as Staff Sargent.
Ray also worked briefly for Ousley's Chevron in San Bernardino prior to a Civil Service occupation of 28 years as supervisor in Chief of Supplies at Norton Air Force Base.
