Roy John Giampietro was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 31, 1920 to Eugene & Irma Giampietro. Roy served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 -1946.   He was the Chairman of the Board for American Pneumatic Tool Company where he was employed for 40 years.

On February 5, 2018 Roy passed away in Hemet, California.  His hobbies included, woodworking, watching cowboy movies and walking. 

Roy was predeceased by his parents and grandson Darren. He is survived by his devoted wife, Geraldine Giampietro; daughter, Claudia Griffith; son, Michael Giampietro; grandchildren, Geanine, Nicole; Great-grand, Danielle, Matt, Luke, Jack and Christian; great-great-grandchildren, Remington and Madelyn as well as other family members and friends.
