William R Barnett Jr. was born on August 1, 1953 to William Barnett Sr. and Florie Atkins Barnett.

Affectionately known as BillyBoy and WilltheThrill to his friends and family, passed away on April 12,2024 at the age of 70. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, love, and unwavering determination.

Born into humble beginnings, William faced his fair share of challenges throughout his life. Yet, he never allowed these obstacles to define him. Instead, he faced them head-on with courage and determination, emerging stronger and more resilient each time.

William was a man who loved deeply and fiercely, especially when it came to his family. His daughter, Devron Michelle Barnett, and his son, William David Dupont Barnett III, were the light of his life, and he took great pride in being their father. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Those who knew William will remember him for his infectious laugh and playful spirit. He had a knack for bringing joy and laughter to those around him, and his presence lit up any room he entered. His playful demeanor and warm smile endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his love for his family, William had a passion for helping others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, whether it was through his words of wisdom, his acts of kindness, or his willingness to listen. He genuinely cared about making a difference in the lives of others and touched the hearts of many with his generosity and compassion.

William was incredibly intelligent and resourceful. He was a self-taught expert in real estate and ventured into business with the hope of providing a better future for his family. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination were truly inspiring, and he approached every challenge with a sense of optimism and resilience.

Our dad will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will continue to inspire us all.
