Alaina Yvonne Cowen

October 29, 1961 ~ January 29, 2018 (age 56) 56 Years Old

Alaina Yvonne Kubacki Rivera, 56, of Hemet California, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.  She was surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren and friends.

Alaina was born on October 29, 1961 to Theresa Jo and Robert Charles Kubacki of Fort Worth, Texas.  In search of a better life for their family, her parents chose to relocate to Southern California three years later in 1964.  Soon after leaving San Jacinto High School and with her unyielding faith in God, it was at this time that Alaina chose to start her family.  She married her sweetheart, Ronald Rivera on February 14, 1981 and had four beautiful children with him before he sadly succumbed to an undisclosed illness.  After enduring the endless struggles of being a single mother, Alaina then elected to pursue a fulfilling career in the medical field.  Her hard work and diligence toward achieving her goal soon paid off when she received her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Mt. San Jacinto College.  She later chose to work as a registered nurse for her dear friend, Dr. James Tsai.  Her vast knowledge and unwavering dedication to her profession as well as the joy she received from helping others were instrumental in aiding Dr. Tsai to get his practice off the ground and later on become the success that he is today.

Alaina will always be known for her "Woody Woodpecker" laugh that helped brighten the lives of all those around her.  She was a caring, compassionate, loving person who was always there for her family and friends whenever she was needed.  She will always be remembered for the numerous sacrifices she always made to ensure her children grew up in a loving, caring and fruitful environment. She will forever be loved and missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Alaina is survived by her four children, Monica Rivera, Candace McGee and Brandon Rivera, all of Layton, Utah and Demaris Quach of Casa Grande, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; mother, Theresa Jo Kubacki of Hemet, California; sister, Londa Goddard of Hemet, California; two nephews and all her caring and devoted friends.
