Alvin Ray Lacy

Alvin Ray Lacy born on October 29, 1939 in Lynn County O'Donnell Texas was reunited with God, his family and friends on Monday August 23, 2021 at the age of 81.

Alvin attended school in Texas until he started working at the age of 13 to help out the family. He started carrying out groceries and worked in that field for 54 years

and retired from Stater Bros. Markets in 2002 where he was a Supervisor.

Mr. Lacy was best known for his sense of humor, his smile and always up for lending a hand to his family and neighbors. He was truly a man of integrity, honesty and always

exhibited a sincere concern for others. Al believed a man was only as good as his word and lived by the wisdom shared by his mother, "If you can't say something

nice don't say anything at all".

Alvin is survived by his wife Beverly Lacy and children daughter, Shannon Jucknath and her husband Kim, daughter Tresia Bradshaw, son Curtis Lacy and his wife Susie,

son Michael Lacy, son Bobby Calloway and his wife Robin, son Jeff Calloway and his wife Gloria, and son Barry Calloway. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Barr

and her husband Paul, 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren who lovingly refered to him as Hapa, Papa and Pops.

His family will have a private celebration of his life. Al Lacy will be

greatly missed by his family and his many friends and neighbors
