It is with great sadness that the family of Alvy Duane Brummett announces his sudden passing on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the age of 66. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Chris, his sons Rick (Christy) and Michael (Melinda), step-daughters Deanna (Daniel) and Nichole (Travis), and his sister, Peggy Straka. He will also be missed by his 19 grandchildren- Eric, Garrett, Ty, Courtney, Bevan, Trevor, Julian, Dawson, Emilie, Andrew, Preston, Madix, Parker, Spencer, Eva, Emma, Abbey, Tommy, and Tyler.
“Papa Al” was known for his warmth and kindness. He was a constant source of joy and laughter, wise advice, and patient listening. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1971-1986, serving in Vietnam in 1972 (stationed in Takhli, Thailand). A ‘handy-man extraordinaire,’ there was nothing he couldn’t fix (and would often ‘modify’ things to better suit his purposes). He recently retired as a Director of operations from Neuro Vitality Center in Palm Springs, California.
