Betty J. Gifford

Betty Joyce McNally Gifford was born May 21, 1935 in Griffithville Arkansas, the youngest of 13 children.  She and her family all moved to California where Betty eventually married.  She is survived by all 5 of her children, Mike, Keith, Ken, Teresa, and Randy.  In addition, she was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Betty gave her heart to Jesus at an early age.  She always loved the Lord and throughout her life, continued to pray for her children and grandchildren.  For most of her adult life, she was a member of Tyler Baptist Church in Riverside.

Betty’s career with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department began in 1974.  She continued with the department until she retired in 1999 when she relocated to Hemet, California to be closer to family.

Betty was blessed with many wonderful friends who remained close throughout all of their lives.  She was affectionately nicknamed Betty Boop by her friends and was still called that in recent days.  Her friendships were strong, and even up until recent days friends they were still staying in contact.
