Carolyn Catherine DeBrask

Carolyn C. DeBrask was born in Westerville, Ohio on April 7, 1935; she was a graduate of Dublin High School in Dublin, Ohio and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She married and moved to Sacramento, California and in 1959 moved to Riverside, California. In 1969 she started work for First American Title Insurance Company in Riverside and retired in 1985 as manager of the Escrow Department. She married Marvin DeBrask in 1975 and they made their home in Hemet, California. She was president of the Riverside County Escrow Association, Life Member of AMC Cancer Research, and a member of the Assistance League of Hemacinto. On November 9, 2022 in Palm Springs, California, Carolyn passed away peacefully at home. She is survived by her daughter, LeeAnn Stewart (Tom) of Hayden, Idaho; son, Bill Reynolds (Terri) of Granite Bay, California; preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her son, Richard “Scooter” Reynolds; and stepsons, David DeBrask (Casey) and Robert DeBrask. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister Sheryl Smiley (Jim); and nieces Theresa Smiley and Ann Aicher (Paul). Services will be held at Hemet Valley Mortuary, 403 North San Jacinto St., Hemet, CA 92543. December 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers made to Assistance League of Hemacinto, P.O. Box 5425, Hemet, CA 92544.
