Daryl Edwin Williams, 90, of Hemet, California, passed away peacefully at his home on April 9, 2017.

Daryl is survived by his loving wife, Jean, of 16 years, his sons, Ricky Lee Williams, Mark Edwin Williams, daughter Daralynn Denice Lawson; five grandchildren: Michelle Williams, Wendy Williams, Krista Williams, Christopher Lawson, Joshua Lawson, and five great grandchildren.

He was born the youngest of six siblings (two brothers and three sisters) on July 5, 1926 in Hialeah, Florida to Robert and Bertha Williams. He was raised and schooled in Desloge, Missouri. In 1950, he was drafted into the United States Army. In 1953, he met and married his first wife, Loretta Smiley, and from this union two boys and one girl ("his favorite daughter") were born. Daryl accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age, and even studied to become a minister.

Daryl was an extremely intelligent man who enjoyed technology, spending time with friends and reading his Bible. In his spare time he liked to tinker with computers and watch professional wrestling. His love of computers may have started in the 1960's when he worked at NASA Space Center in Houston, Texas, during the historic moon landing and also at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California, at the time of the Voyager mission.
