Destiny Sy'more McCarter Roquemore

Destiny Sy’mone Roquemore McCarter was born on December 6, 1994 to Melanie Roquemore McCarter and Shawn McCarter.  Destiny was from Hemet, California where most of her family resides. Destiny, just 24 years old passed away January 20, 2019 peacefully in her sleep. Destiny was a single mother who leaves behind her two beautiful children Lori'al Faith Anthony McCarter who is 7 and Malachi Chance McCarter just 11 months.  Destiny also leaves behind three sisters; Tiera Lomas, Saveaye McCarter and Pashone McCarter.  As well as, four brothers; Anthony Lomas, Shawn McCarter, Dmario Jernigan and Dominic McCarter. Destiny was not only a mother, she was an awesome auntie as well to six nieces and five nephews.

Destiny was loved by so many people.  She also has a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who were more like brothers and sisters.  Destiny had stepped up after her grandmother Marsha Johnson passed away January 13, 2014 and became mama bear to everyone around her. There was not one thing Destiny would not do to try to help someone from giving someone temporary shelter or just giving a ride up the street. She would do it with a smile.

Destiny is now at peace.

She would want us all to remember her beautiful smile and awesome personality.
