Donavon Wade Boggs, age 51, went to be with his Jesus on June 20, 2018 at his home in San Jacinto.
Donavon grew up in various places throughout California, Nevada, Washington, and Idaho and graduated from Moreno Valley High in 1984. He married Maralin Thompson on November 24, 2001 at Menifee Lakes Country Club. They blended a family of seven children from previous relationships and had one child together. Donavon worked as an electrician for several years, for a variety of companies, until becoming disabled from health related complications. He was an amazing artist who excelled in drawing, painting, and wood carving. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to push himself in everything he tried. Donavon was so giving of all his talents and abilities and was often helping family and friends when they were in need. Though his body was disabled, Donavon’s humor and wit were not hampered, and his love for his family and his Savior were ever present.
He is survived by his wife, Maralin; daughters, Jeleah, Shay, Haylee, Mourgaan, and Aerielle; sons, Donavon, Joshua, and Robert; grandchildren, Evannah, Tyler, Xandra, Mileena, and soon-to-arrive Oliver Wade; his sister, Dawn Boggs-Fatten; his brother, Brent; and his mother, Sally Lockman. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Jacqueline Wheeler, and his father, Benjamin.
Donavon is greatly missed, but he is with his Jesus, and has full control of his body again.
The celebration of life will be at 5 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2018, at a home church located at 26602 Bellingham Way in Hemet, CA and all ages are welcome.
