Mr. Jay Charles Fisher died peacefully in Fernley, NV, on March 14, 2018 at the age of 78.  Jay is survived by his son Jay Fisher Jr., siblings, Donna Ward-Wilcox, Craig Fisher and Steve Dienstadt with relative’s mother Dorothy Fisher, and brother and sister, John Kline and Marie Patton and 9 grandchildren.  Jay was born on November 10, 1939 in Oklahoma City.  His father John C. Fisher moved from Oklahoma City, OK to Los Angeles, CA where he later married Dorothy Johns.  After the war his parents moved to Aguanga, CA to become turkey ranchers with their three kids, Jay, Johnny, and Marie.  He graduated from Hemet High School and later served in the Navy which led to a career as an electric lineman.  

He married Diana Lowrey whose father was also a turkey rancher where they had 3 kids from that marriage and later they divorced after moving to Missouri.  After the divorce he moved to Southern California where he remarried in 1982 to Nina Deinstadt who had 2 kids of her own.  They lived and worked in Stanton, Anaheim, and Garden Grove California.  After retiring they moved to Hemet, CA to be closer with his parents.  His second wife, Nina Deinstadt died unexpectedly in April of 2011 from cancer.  He later decided to move to his daughter’s place in Oregon for a year and later moved to Fernley, NV near his son where he passed on.  Jay Fisher served his country as well as his family and he will not be forgotten.
