Jessie Martinez

Jessie Martinez born June 25, 1971 he was married to Bonnie on February 19, 2000. In 2013 Jessie and Bonnie decided to foster with the intent to adopt Ayden who was 4 at the time and Riley who was 18 months. They fostered for almost three years when the children were sent back to their biological father. However, God is good and brought Ayden and Riley back in 2016, and March 2018 they finally adopted the children.

Jessie always had a servants heart, and wanted to live his life for the Lord.  He worked with the youth group at Calvary Chapel San Jacinto for several years before leaving to Minnesota in 2003 to start Calvary Chapel of Duluth. Jessie and Bonnie were there for 5 years, made life long friends and the Lord used Jessie in the Frozen Tundra. 

In 2008 Jessie and Bonnie returned and Jessie started a small fellowship called At the Cross Fellowship. He pastored this fellowship until he fell too sick to continue.

Jessie worked for Valley Wide Recreation for about 3 years, he loved working with the people there. He also played Santa for Valley Wide Events, and for the Department of  San Jacinto Wildlife Area Christmas events.

In 2018 Jessie was the Vice President of the local Hemet Hawks Football, he loved working with the parents and the children.

Jessie was a beloved husband, father, and friend someone you could always go to and would find loving support and guidance. 

He loved being a father, he loved his children so much. As well as he loved his dogs especially his Sammykins. He loved his family, his friends, he met some amazing people who became family to him. He loved working on model cars, racing his RC cars, and as we all know he LOVED Batman. He will be terribly missed by all!
