Jim was born in La Jolla, California on April 23, 1944.  Jim spent most of his life in Pacific Beach, California working for the land developer Irving Kahn, and playing his guitar in Rock & Roll Bands, until he chased his future loving wife Karen down at the Jack-in-the-Box in Mission Beach.  It was love at first sight.  The married and lived in Pacific Beach, then La Cresta, California, then Walla Walla Washington where he and Karen had six kids; three girls and three boys; Jamie, Angie, Jessica, Jason, Justin and Jake.  They were also blessed with eleven grandchildren.  During all these years Jim created Pridemore Electrical Inc. Jim taught his girls the trade, and had them pulling wire and working on a lot of the same jobs together.  Jim had his hands full and also taught some of the kid’s friends the trade.   

On May 2, 2017 Jim passed away at home and didn’t experience much pain.

Jim was trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior. His youngest daughter, Jessica visited her dad his last day alive and sang “Amazing Grace” to him. Upon ending the song,  Jim took one deep breath and flew away…

We will truly miss him, but we will all be together again.
