Leslie Wilber Geiger

Leslie was born August 24, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN to Harold and Mildred Geiger.

He passed peacefully at home on July 21, 2021 in Hemet, CA.

He was survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pressiy Geiger of Hemet, CA; son John (Cecily) Geiger of Madera, CA; daughter Jean (Doug) Kelley of Clovis, CA; daughter Miteesha (Justin) Burwell of San Diego, CA; grandchildren: Arlene Shaverdi; John Villa Geiger; Stephanie Mueller; Michael Villa; Leslie Hicks; Erin Helton; Robert Geiger; David Geiger; Patrick Kelley; Brian Kelley; Zoey Burwell; Jack Burwell; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sons Donald Geiger and Johnny Villa.

His life and career were about service to his fellow man, especially children and the elderly.

For 30 years he served as a Director/Management of YMCA’s in Fresno, Hemet-San Jacinto, Palm Desert, and Corona, CA.

After retiring from the YMCA, he spent 21 years as a business owner of John's Market & Deli in San Jacinto, CA and H & R Block in Big Bear, CA.

He was a Master Mason of Freemasonry for more than 48 years, a Shriner, and a member of the Scottish Rite. He also served on numerous charitable and service organizations throughout the years.

Memorial services will be held on August 21, 2021 at 10am at Hemet Masonic Temple, 150 Laursen St., Hemet, CA 92543
