Marie Rose Dunlap was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 11, 1949 to Richard and Grace Soehren.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Marie went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2017 surrounded by her family.

For many years she worked as a waitress while also caring for her family.  She was the proud wife of James for 47 years. Together they had 3 daughters, which were the jewels of her heart.

Marie was a passionate artist. She loved to draw and paint.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of San Jacinto where she loved to work in the children's ministry.  Her pastimes included, listening to music, completing crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will forever be loved and cherished by her husband, James Dunlap; 3 daughters, Renee Dice, Jayna Jensen and Erin Grady; 4 brothers,  Joseph Soehren, Martin Soehren, Kenneth Soehren and Jack "John" Soehren; 2 sisters, Nancy Labadie and Judy Lehtola; 7 grandchildren, Trenten, Kadie, Adeline, Mason, Aiden, Alec and Scarlet as well as many other family members and friends
