Marjorie Forrest passed away June 25, 2019 in San Jacinto, CA at the age of 93.
Marjorie enjoyed cooking for family and friends. We often requested her specialties for birthdays: City Chicken, Waldorf Apple Salad and Chocolate Cake from scratch. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing and made many gifts of colorful artistic crocheted Afghans or doll clothes for children and grandchildren who cherish these special gifts. Marjorie also enjoyed Senior Center events and activities with her senior friends in Victorville and Adelanto. She was proud to be a homeowner and planted a vegetable garden, fruit trees, roses and other flowers to enjoy. She often listened to country and western music. Some of her favorite artists were Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Ray Price, Faron Young, and Eddie Arnold.
Marjorie had a ready smile and generous heart for all who knew her.
Marjorie is survived by her sister, Joyce (Parish) Anthony of North Ferrisburgh VT, daughters; Sharon McBride of Riverside CA, Gail Forrest Nichols of Hermosa Beach CA, and Bonnie Rinier of Winchester CA. Grandchildren; Robert Deao Jr. of Little Elm TX, Eileen (Deao) Cechini of Riverside CA, Jennifer (Rinier) Capps of Menifee CA, Eric Forrest of San Pedro CA.
