Peter John Klasa, Jr.

Peter John Klasa, Jr. was born to the late Peter John Klasa, Sr. and Frances (Gracz) Klasa on May 23, 1936 in Flint, Michigan.  He went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2020 in Hemet, California, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Pete's family owned and operated Demock's Grocery Store on Pierson Road in Flint, Michigan.  He was a talented athlete and excelled in all sports. For 30 years, Pete worked for the United States Postal Service in management and received many outstanding reviews and commendations. 

Pete married Beverly Shaft of Flint, Michigan in 1964.  They moved to California and had six children, Becki Luke of Tustin, California, Alec Bourque of Hemet, California, Elizabeth Cushman of Milvale, Pennsylvania, Scott Mitoraj of Mytrle Beach, South Carolina, Amy Vaccarino of Winchester, California and Lisa Manista of Hemet, California.  He had 3 sisters, Helen Butcher of Jennings, California, Genevieve Bundy of Flushing, Michigan and Donna Demock of Texas; a brother, Frank Demock of El Paso, Texas. 

 He was a man of integrity and character; his wife, family and friends dearly loved him; he will truly be missed.
