Tribute

I could not imagine there being a father better than mine.  He was kind, considerate, and fun to be around.  Friends and family always came around just to sit and talk with him.  He always had the best advice, a good ear, and a good laugh.  He taught us kids to do the right thing and always had a dinner lecture on how to be a good person.  I am grateful for his lessons and all the love he gave me. - Angie

There are many things I admired about my grandfather. One of them being his

ability to make light of situations by having a good sense of humor. I always had lots of

fun writing the letters from Santa on Christmas. Another thing I admired about him was

his strong Catholic faith. It is one of the things that inspired me to dig deeper into my

own faith and become closer to God. He was such a great person to be around as I

have so many memories of going to grandma and grandpa’s house and having long

talks with him on the porch as well as riding the quad around the neighborhood with my

grandpa and my brother. These memories I will never forget and will cherish forever. - Avery

My grandpa was the type of person who would always think of others before himself.  When I was younger I loved going to see him whenever I could, because he was a fun person to be around.  We used to sit in his TV room and watch game shows together and he would crack the funniest jokes.  I'm going to always remember these times and be glad he was my grandpa. - Spen

His legendary laugh, his smile, Rocky movies, stupid jokes, made up songs, a Pat Benetar concert, a baseball bat in my Easter basket, his chair, and completely spoiling my kids are just some of my memories.  I am incredibly blessed to have so many amazing memories and that he was my dad. - Tracy

My grandpa showed me to always be happy and never let anyone’s negative energy bring me down, and always be so kind and loving to even the meanest of people.  Also, just to enjoy and appreciate everything life gives you. - Grace

My grandpa was never not there for his kids or grandkids.  Whenever me, my siblings or cousins needed anything, he was always there to get us whatever that was.  But the best thing he ever gave me was, a best friend, my biggest supporter, and the best role model. - Joel

I don’t care if I ended up rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful, I just want to be like my grandpa.  I know anyone would benefit from being more like my grandpa and leave the world a better place because of it. - Troy

My dad had the biggest heart and the best laugh. He taught me a lifetime of skills and made me the man I am today. I will truly miss him forever. - Jonny

Grandpa was my favorite person ever. He made me the happiest and was my hero. He could make a joke out of everything and make any situation better. - Matix
