Richard Mohn, longtime resident of Anza, Ca passed away peacefully at his home on Feb 12, 2019 at the age of 93. He was surrounded by family and love at the time of his passing.
Richard, was born on March 6, 1925, in Reading Pa. He served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII in the Pacific Campaign and in the Korean War. He retired after 22 years with the rank of Master Sargent.
Richard was survived by three sons and one daughter, Gary and Marie of Phoenix, AZ, Ken Mohn of Chino Valley Az, Alan and Juya Mohn of Menifee, Ca, and Ann and Preston Brimhall of Anza, Ca. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Mohn, and his oldest son, Rick Mohn of Anza, Ca.
Richard is also survived by five grandchildren, Amanda, Tamara, Orion, Cooper, and Hanna. He also had three great-children, Anna, Aurora, and Olivia.
Richard and his family moved to Anza in 1971. He was the owner of Cal-West Construction in Temecula until his retirement. Richard was involved in the community in many way. He served as Master of Ceremony in the Anza Days Parade for many years.
He will be remembered by all who knew him by his cheerful nature and infectious laughter. A stranger was just a friend he hadn't yet met.
