Robert A. Cuevas, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at home surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of over 54 years, Virginia F. Cuevas, his children, Diana Cuevas, Thomas Cuevas, Albert Cuevas & wife Amber, Maria Castro & husband Ricardo, Elena Cuevas and Frank Cuevas, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. He will also be forever remembered by his numerous relatives, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Francisco Cuevas, mother Ramona Banuelos, step-father Louis Banuelos, daughter in -law Annette Cuevas and son in-law Jesse Arenas. His family was a precious gift to him.

A Native southern California resident, Robert served in the US Army and the US National Guard Reserves. He was a Carpenter, Superintendent in Construction and Construction Business Owner for 40+ years. He will be remembered for his love of baseball, his witty sense of humor, his integrity, his strength, and the respect he was given by all. He was the Patriarch, provider, the protector, the teacher, the hero.

He leaves behind his legacy of joy, pride and lasting memories that our grateful hearts will always treasure.
