Roland Stanley Marvin Will was born April 4, 1932 in Irma, Wisconsin to Godfrey and Anna Will.
Raised on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin, Roland was always a farmer at heart loving the land, the animals and the seasons. Well remembering the days before rural electrification, he was taught to value the effort to conserve and fix anything on the farm with stuff you had at hand. That trait lasted throughout his lifetime and he would always find great satisfaction in fixing something rather than buying it new. He was proud of his service to his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Roland loved his family, music, and his Savior. He was always supportive of Jean’s organ or piano playing and sang in every choir she directed. Singing was a life-long pleasure. Roland is survived by his wife of 65 years’ Jean; sons David (Yvonne), James (Sally), grandchildren Skip, Nicole and Andrew. Five great-grandchildren and older brother Fred from Merrill, Wisconsin and one special nephew, David Johnson of Merrill, Wisconsin.
