Shirley Kline, 87, passed peacefully on November 19, 2020 at her residence in Hemet, CA.
She was born on May 7, 1933 to William and Hertha Ferrell. Shirley spent the bulk of her life in the Hemet and San Jacinto Valley.
Shirley was survived by her daughter, Michelle Mercer, three grand-children and their spouses, Tracie Browning (Mandel), Sarah Mercer, David Mercer (Melissa), her five great-grandchildren Nichole Bryan (Philip), Mackenzie Mercer-Johnson (Kameron), Parker Browning, Austin and Maddisyn Mercer, her great-great grandson, Rowan Bryan and her Yorkie Gus.
She enjoyed all types of crafting, but was particularly keen to sewing and embroidering. For years, she sewed many of the clothing worn in the Soboba Pow-Wows, which she enjoyed attending. Outside of that, she enjoyed spending most of her time at home and loved visiting with her family.
There will be an open-house celebration of life at her residence on December 13, 2020 beginning at 11 am. Guests are welcome to stop by freely and share memories with the family and friends until 5pm.
