Teresa Garcia was born in Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur, Mexico on October 9, 1928.  She was the second child of ten children born to Andres Pico and Anita Villavicencio.  She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Garcia.  Formally from the Upland/San Bernardino area, Teresa relocated to Hemet California in 1994.  She was a dedicated worker and enjoyed cooking. Foundation was most important to Teresa. She instilled the importance of the Catholic faith to her family.  She was instrumental in the rearing of her grandchildren.   

On October 25, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, Teresa peacefully passed away.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, Pedro Garcia; parents, Andres Pico and Anita Villavicencio and siblings, Ramon Pico, Rodolfo Pico, Arnulfo Pico and Maria Pico.

She is survived by her children, Maria Scalfani, Yolanda Martinez, Sylvia Del La Torre, Mary Lou Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Eva Beal and Ermelinda Garcia; siblings Eustacia Martinez, Rita Pico, Maria Ignacia, Jose El Fego Pico, Rodolfo Pico and Eustacio Pico; devoted niece, Rita Marines; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and friends.
