Walter Louis Allmang was born September 8, 1934 in Mineola, New York to Ludwig and Rose Allmang. Raised in Germany, he returned to the US at the age of 19. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. He spent his life growing and caring for plant. It was a career as well as a hobby.  He had a wonderful train collection and enjoyed watching soccer.  Walter was the loving husband to the late, Gretchen Allmang who passed away in July, 2004. 

On October 17, 2017 Walter passed away in Hemet, California.  He is survived by his three children: Kristina Collier, Katrina Allmang, and Anthony Allmang and  five grandchildren: Josie Collier, Benji Collier, Trenton Allmang, Elisha Allmang,  and Jonathan Allmang.

Walter will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
